It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Lisah = rock.

She does! I think I owe her more oysters.

I just discovered they have a Girl Groups Night at the Casanova bar in the Mission. Person with the biggest bouffant wins a free oven mitt.

I can't believe I've missed it until now!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Just got tickets to see the reunited Crowded House in August. I have been a fan since forever and have never seen them play. Neil Finn--Woo Hoo!

"Either it's murder, or this library has a very strict overdue policy."

Argh! Ted Leo is coming to town in August and playing at the stupidest club here.

Same here. He was supposed to play in a great place here this summer, but that part of the tour got cancelled. And that's how I found out about it, with the cancelled notice. Never in my life have joy turn into devastation that quickly.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

So, this morning, as I'm working in the theater, we're listening to Jack FM -- one of those automated stations without DJs, that will play anything....

First thing when we turn it on this morning, they play Ozzy's Crazy Train, immediately followed by an XTC song.

Never in a million years would I have imagined putting those two songs together.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, there was that XTC album with the train on the cover....

ION, WFMU just played the new Glenn Mercer (formerly of The Feelies) track "Morning Lights". eMusic has the album. Hooray!

Wow, that's great news. How is it? I have a Wake Ooloo album that's about 1/2 great and 1/2 dreck.

Well, I just heard the one song and then finished downloaded the album about one minute ago.

I'm gonna listen to it now....

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

When I saw him live in April, I wasn't that impressed with the new material, especially considering how rocking the older Feelies songs he played sounded.

The Feelies set the bar pretty high.
