Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Even Europe hasn't seen much of him over the last 10-15 years but it's been almost 26 years since he last toured Australia.

Yeah, even the dates listed for his current tour are mostly England, with a few dates on the continent. I know he's a relatively new dad, which was one of the reasons for the delay between albums, and I fear it may curtail touring farther afield. Weird to think of Gary Numan as someone's dad.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

And my request is to be bumped back to week 5 if possible, as the shows I'm doing right now will be mostly kicking my ass through the posting date for week 4. The extra week will be quite helpful.

Der. Nope, I missed this. I'll post an updated schedule this week.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

If it helps any, I can be ready by week 4, and just switch places with Sean.

Not that I have already picked out all of my songs and have to fight every single day not to compulsively rethink them or anything.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I can switch too. I'm two songs away from finishing, but I'm going to have to tweak some to get it under eighty minutes. That's really the most frustrating thing about this--I found 25 (+2 I haven't chosen yet) individual songs for all the categories, but if I can't fit it all in...

PS: This might be cheating, but: Songs that Quote Other Songs.
