Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

I'd do the Mix, but I think that dial-up will curtail my uploading/downloading abilities.

If you want, you could send your mix to me and I'll upload it.

I'm intrigued by this. What does a round-robin entail?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Speaking of mixes, I just threw up my ten for friday mix: bourbon and a microphone.

We each create a mix CD and post it for our mutual pleasure. You should play!

See there is no reason for you not to. Play, Sue, play!

Mind blowing fun and life-changing new tunes. Or, OK, really it's just searching through your iTunes a lot, writing liner notes and watching your browser chug along as it sends giant files to a gmail account. But - still - fun!

I'm not happy with my list of categories yet - I will ruminate on it over lunch.

I'd be happy to play along. Sound like fun. I know I'll be hearing new music, not so sure the rest of you will get too much new music from me, but I'll play.

Fantastic!

Here's a few category suggestions:

  • Soundtrack to your morning commute. Must be instrumental or, at least, wordless.
  • Evokes (implicitly or explicitly) one of your favorite passages from one of your favorite books.
  • Cross-genre cover song (such as a rap song covered by a country artist).
  • Political but not preachy
  • Quotes another song, either in the music or words
  • Makes you want to get high, drunk, or, if it's your druthers, dizzy & giddy from spinning around in circles.
  • Features a great bridge.

Features a great bridge.

Musically, or literally?
