Be warned that last week's show, being a special 4 hour edition, is over 200MB. Also, I hope to have today's show up in a few hours. At that point, the XML file will no longer link to last week's "best of". However, you'll be able to download it directly as an mp3 from [link]

Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
I just downloaded last week's show. I do all my podcast subscribing at work, due to dial up at home. Now I just have to remember to bring in my cord on Monday.
You may not know that Brian Eno recorded the startup music for Windows 95 (which is still used for XP, no?).
Well, MS has hired Robert Fripp to record the music for Windows Vista (the next OS): [link]

I think he should use "21st Century Schizoid Man". I suspect Bill Gates would not be amused, though.
Well, MS used "Start Me Up." You know, the song with the line, "You make a grown man cry."
My new guitar arrived! It's an Oscar Schmidt OE40 jazz style guitar. The floating bridge might end up being a bit of a pain in the ass. I'm not sure. Hard to believe, but it actually has mother of pearl inlay on a guitar I paid $200 for. It's nice and loud acoustically which is something I couldn't say about the OE30. I'm going to take it to a musician friend's house (he actually play *real* jazz boxes and fixes 'em too) and he's going to set it up for me. I hope it works out for my RSI. It's heavier than the OE30 but the action is just as easy if not easier. And certainly easier action than my old Taylor had.
I am currently listening to Jon's Best of 2005 Breakfast of Champions podcast (which aired 12/30). I highly recommend.
I'm with Tina. Listened to this on the long train ride home today, and damnit, now I have to find sneaky ways to import lots of music without it getting stuck in the customs. (From just one listen, I got the song by Dream Bitches stuck in my head. And that's a good thing.)
Thanks Nicklas. Where're you from?
I'm from Sweden.
Sweden, how cool!
