It's like, in the middle of all this, I'm paranoid that you'll think I don't like poetry.

Nice! And very cool that they highlighted several buffista-written sidebars.

I am currently listening to Jon's Best of 2005 Breakfast of Champions podcast (which aired 12/30). I highly recommend. First - you get to hear Jon being all proud of how organized he is for the four-hour show. Hee. Second, it's four hours of Best-of-the-Year goodness. Anyone who has gotten a Best of Mix from Jon in the past knows this is not to be missed. I especially love it because it gives me a million ideas for new stuff to download/buy. (So far this morning I've downloaded The Earlies.)

Anyhoo - if you don't listen to BoC regularly this is a good one to download.

I think I'll download Jon's BoC as my inaugural podcast on the new iPod. That'll break it in good and proper.

Aren't Jon's podcasts just streaming shows? Because I can never get them to transfer to my iPod? Is it just me?

Awww, thanks Tina!

I am all about pimping the BoC podcast - I have turned a few non-blinvisible friends on to it as well.

the new iPod

I didn't know you got an iPod, Hec!

Tell tell - how many GBs?? It is the new fancy video one? I watched a Beck video on a friend's the other day and was frankly blown right the fuck away buy how good the picture quality was. Not that I'm not happy with my non-video playing iPod. IJS.

Nope. If you go to "advanced" under your iTunes toolbar and select "subscribe to podcast" and paste

this url:

feed://web.mit.edu/jonb/www/playlist/BoCFriday.xml

in the box it gives you it should download the show to your iTunes and then you manually transfer it to your pod.

Not the new one with the video. One of the original ones with 20 GB. I'm very eager to start playing with podcasts - more than just listening to own record collection, actually.

Tina gave the answer, but I think Sue was confused because WMBR also streams archived shows from their website. They don't do podcasts. I set up my podcast independent of that.
