About the only good thing my college dining hall made was zucchini made like twice-baked potatoes: the zucchini was scooped out, cooked (I think), and mushed together with pine nuts, thrown back into the zucchini skin, and baked with some cheese sprinkled on top. Yum.

Very true. I am, at this point, only watching it for the pretty. And I'm starting to think that DB has the BBOC factor going, which I never really felt until now. But the chick is just so. damn. wooden she may has well have been made of concrete.

So, nobody's watching the Dancing with the Stars dance off? Because I am obsessed enough to make up for all of you, but I'm just curious.

It's tricky getting through on the phone, though. Happily, my cell phone is a local LA number, so I can (attempt to) call again some more.

I am enjoying the fact that all of the commercials in Nip/Tuck are movie previews. (I'm only a half-hour in.) Oh, and ads for FX shows. YAY RENT!!!!!

And did all the episodes of House end with a musical montage last season?

Not that I remember. Hopefully they're just getting them out of the way early on.

Finally watched Kitchen Confidential, and so far I like it better than HIMYM. It's not as laugh-out-loud funny, but it's less faintly annoying. (No framing, no laugh track. On the downside, no Neil Patrick Harris. But on the upside, just about everyone else.)

Oh man. I am still feeling shaky. One of my brother's friends, I have no idea which one, but at least four were here tonight, left our back door wide open-- and we have three STRICTLY indoor cats, one of whom who would love nothing more than to escape the house. Luckily, one of the cats, who apparenly doesn't want to escape, just made me follow her to the door, to show me, and then I wandered the house and found the other two, perfectly safe. And yet? I'm still shaky.

That sucked. I'm within my rights to kick stupid person butt, right?

My cat has been constantly begging for more food. Perhaps he detected a disturbance in the Feline Force.

my cat is being wierder. He generally is dying for my attention when Matt is gone. Tonight I had to lure him off the bed with a can of food. Maybe it is the strange rain we are having.
