Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

My Name is Earl

Oh, thanks for the reminder. I was watching Supernatural, but I can catch the rerun. I'm taping Bones and House.

I watched Gilmore Girls.

I have no issue calling anyone a halfwit that I think is one

'Tis true! She happily calls idiot bus drivers jackhole! SO FUNNY. (Though not the circumstances necessitating it.)

My dad bought a used primo racing/street bike for $1200 about 10 plus years ago. The schwinns that are his standard stock ran around $600 new back when I last checked. Mind you, he has four or five bikes in rotation and used to be a triathlete. And the bikes are his primary means of getting to work when the weather holds (9 miles away.) He has so many from a combination of hating to be late because goatheads got both tires by the time he hit the end of the street (and changing them is a time consuming PIA) and his latent packrat tendencies which means he saves parts from accidents (5 at last count...) and reassembles new bikes from them .

So... probably worth it, but invest in extra tubes, patch kits and familiarize yourself with changing tubes and checking for stickeries.

I watched NCIS. Because I need continuity. But I taped Bones. Watching House. I'm so screwed when TAR starts up.

I reclaimed a voodoo doll bought at a creepy non-obviously touristy place in New Orleans today. It was something my officemate left that I'd given (I'm glad he took the flyswatter and magic eight ball, though it makes my job harder.) It depressed me on so many levels.

Those fuckwits at the local FOX station started a mandatory drill sequence with one minute of House left! Geez, people, get with your own. fucking. program!

Hey, my FOX affiliate has transmission/satellite problems regularly. Those blocky skips and freezes? ALL THE TIME. Always at key dialogue points, I swear. Annoying.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I thought the problem was because of our geography...and being remote enough that nobody cared. But we mostly have problems with Fox, so I guess it just that they're cheap. They probably think people won't stop watching over it. Perhaps this is true for a few shows, but I have been known to change the channel during a storm.

And now FX is gutting me with Nip/Tuck. At least they won't have an emergency drill to block anything out, when I probably need to.

My WB and UPN stations used to be bad. I'd spend Buffy standing by the rabbit ears, tweaking. God help me if it was windy! They are better now, but the weather still wreaks havoc.

WHINE: My boobs hurt, the sugar cat pissed in front of the litterbox-never a good sign-, this weeks sucks, my job sucks and I think I'm depressed. No comments please. I'm cranky.

I'm watching L&O:SVU, and Robert Patrick is playing a sex offender, and I can hardly stand it. I do not like this Sam I Am.

Can it be lactose and sugar and fat free?

Ok, you can have the full of that kind. Unfortunately, ice cream has become an illmaker. To the shock of many, I don't even crave it anymore. In fact, I can get psychosomatic heartburn from the prospect! Pathetic, no?

The other weekend, I spent a day with my friend and her family. Her husband, a big sugar and fat slut, was amazed that it required me no willpower to turn down a sundae. Until I explained, of course. Then he was torn between envy (he's trying to lose weight) and horror (I mean, ICE CREAM.)

Now give me some shelled pinons... (pine nuts)
