"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Aww. So many good rocket men out there.

I'm fond of the TAL classified ad band version. It has electric violin and theremin in it. Plus a lounge singer and a funk drummer.

I saw a preview for the new Aly/Jason show and they had great timing together. Robin's right - Jason Segel's amazing. I just saw his guest spot on Undeclared and he was fearless in his comic pursuit. Also, Aly gets to wear a piratey eye patch for part of it . But I think Kitchen Confidential is the show that will probably hit.

Dang. Aly v. NB.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Arrested Development.

Oh! Dang, I forgot how much fun that show is. See, in my head AD is Alzheimers & I couldn't figure out what else fit.

What is even happening?

But I think Kitchen Confidential is the show that will probably hit.
Really? I thought I read not good things about it. This could change my whole plan.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Alexis Denisof also fits.

Between tonight's choice, the age of my TV, and the Lost/VM decision, I'm wondering if now would be a good time to get a small TV.

I'm bucking all trends and watching Surface, for reasons that amount to underwater things - cool.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If Aly really were lucky, her pilot from last year would have been picked up.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I will be watching the Saints until they switch to the Cowboys, and the second they do, I'll probably watch KC, and maybe flip to HIMYM, or tivo both.

We got pictures of Cyn's house today. It's smashed to heck.

I'm currently really peeved with my husband.

Today has been the Mondayist of Mondays.

Oh, wait. No I'm not. The other two come on at 9p. Huh. I think I'll go with the one with AH and grab the other one elsewise.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

You guys are totally not my friends. I can't believe you'd root for me to say yes to sure humiliation.

It was an interesting conversation. Maybe Maya will do it.
