Netflix also has that nice feature where you can set up different queues for family members (or for yourself I guess if you want to separate the kinds of dvds you rent). I did this for Mom...it comes to my house and then she watches them. Or it. So far she still has teh same dvd from a month ago.

I thought the point of muckraking journalism was to scandalise and tittilate, and truth transmission was an occasional side effect.
I thought the point of muckraking journalism was muscular prose full of verve, but I don't think they give out Pulitzers for beauty.
I really hope the intent of The Jungle was exposé and truth-telling, because, as a novel, it sucked. (Actually, it was a huge polemic about how you should drop everything and become a socialist, but in order to illuminate this viewpoint, detailed reportage about the meatpacking industry was necessary.)
I would have cried before I could even get to the prostrating. I embarrass easily.
The "end to late fees" thing was just dumb. I don't think anyone really believed that they were just going to let you keep movies as long as you want, so they were looking for the catch from the get-go. This is on top of the fact that they're moving steadily toward the point where they only carry the movie that came out five seconds ago -- but they have 500 copies of it! Oddly enough, this does not serve the needs of all the video-renting public.
Jennifer working the swayback. I'm having a hard time finding a profile pic in which she's not working it. It's easier to see when she's in motion and they capture her in profile.

I think crying first is key. I also think that quitting before dying means you're truly repentant.

I know people that bought it -- a co-worker was burned by it, and I'd be surprised if he was alone. VERY.
She has swayback? That picture is not flattering at all. Is there a cure for swayback?
Having the baby. I've got the exact same problem. But I don't look nearly as pretty in a black, maternity ballgown, dammit.

Jennifer working the swayback.
I'm blaming Paris Hilton for this pose. She's been perfecting it since she was 15. I think Nicole Kidman also works this pose but I don't have easy access to a picture of it.
Umm, Jennifer had swayback waaaay before she was even pregnant. If years of dance didn't correct it, I'm not sure that anything can.
Blockbuster's marketing was very shady. If you weren't paying attention to the fine print it did seem like you were going to be charged any late fee.
When I worked at Blockbuster we'd have people come in all the time with movies that were a week late because the customers didn't realize they were being charged the full fee every day it was out.
I went to Blockbuster to rent stuff when Mom had her eye surgery, they really only had dvds for the new releases. Even then the selection was limited. My aunt sends everyone blockbuster cards from G'ma for christmas (since G'ma can't buy anything her self). I've used the cards to buy used dvds.
