Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I rewatched Three Stories when it recently reran and I didn't love it as much as I did the first time.

Still Hugh Laurie is more entertaining to me than most on tv, so I am glad we have new episodes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I find Hugh Laurie pretty entertaining -- it's how everyone responds to him that makes me roll my eyes so. I'm so not down with the indulge-the-cranky-genius thing.

But ... but that was my plan for world domination.

Or maybe I just need a vicodin.

Go drugs, choose drugs.

What's up with the nips?

Something odd. I want to say very very wrong too but with the vagueries of the female body and strange camera angles, it could just be a trick of the light.

Getting time to knock myself out so I can do PT tomorrow morning. It's like the first day of school but with testing that I want desperately to pass but will likely fail. Which, duh, is why I am there in the first place. I'm occasionally an overachiever.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Who has one? One of you must by now, right?

tommyrot, if I remember right.

You do. I loves it.

Friday I took my old 40 Gig iPod to work. Damn, but it feels so heavy now, and the display seems way too big.

So superior aesthetics will require extra work to maintain a good selection of songs in the Nano's 4 Gig memory.

It is quite spiffy-looking.

Art Crawl!!!

Rita, huh?

What was the Q-name? Or did they skip it. They must have skipped Q, because I believe that Phillipe was supposed to come after Ophelia, making Q female and R male.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Woohoo! Reba The Mail Lady won an Emmy.

Also, David Simon, George Pelecanos and David Fury all nominated in the same category. That's a birthday present for erika.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My apartment is not returning my love. My air conditioning stopped actually cooling sometime earlier today, and now despite the dropping night temperatures outside it's still climbing inside, past 80° at last glance. The two rooms I can sleep in both have windows that look (and listen) out over the busy expressway, so there are definite trade-offs involved in getting a slight breeze inside.
