Franny's latest ploy for getting us up in the morning is very direct. She comes into the bedroom and says, "mommy awake! daddy awake!" until one of us--usually me--wakes up.

Once when the whole family was recovering from the flu, Dominic (who of course got over it quickly) decided to wake my brother up by sitting on his chest and poking him in the eyes, nose, chin and mouth. And naming those parts. Loudly. And then laughing hysterically. There is a reason D sometimes gets referred to as Demonic.
I, of course, find this adorable.
I just made someone walk into a wall. He was busy gawping over his shoulder at me and veered into a wall instead of walking around the corner. This is not the first time I've done this while working in this particular building.
