It's a real burden being right so often.

Ann, that's a ferret.

We got some rain overnight. At least, the streets were wet this morning.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We're apparently in a drought, and I'm sick of the 100000% humidity.

We can't be in a drought, it's like walking through SOUP outside. RAIN, MOTHERFUCKER, RAIN!

Happy birthday Nora and Angus!

Happy Birthday Nora!

Happy Birthday Angus!

In light of staying overnight in the city where I work and consequently not having my cholesterol meds on hand, I decided that a breakfast of greasy eggs and bacon was called for.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy Birthday, Angus!

Matt, eggs and bacon are the One True Breakfast. You clearly had no choice. Unless waffles were available. Waffles with butter in every square.

Jessica, I fear you are angering the Humidity fairy. Please to make nice.

Speaking of people I've never met but miss anyway, I miss John H. I sent him a wedding card, damnit! How dare he disappear? Having once learned Thuy's name, I'm never going to be able to use that brainspace for anything else, so the least he could do is come around and talk about her.

At least, the streets were wet this morning.

My theory is it didn't rain. It just condensed on the surfaces.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Timelies,

Happy Birthday, Nora.

My insomnia returned last night after a handful of nights of sleep. Blargh.

To make the gronk even more fun, we went live with our new, completely non-intuitive, trouble ticket tracking system today. I want to shoot whoever decided that this was the product we were going to use.

I need to get the rest of the Red Dwarf DVDs. I have all the seasons on VHS taped off the local PBS station but I only have seasons 1+2 on DVD.
