Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

That's another good one- my cousin, educated with a doctorate still says far for fire and mira for mirror.

A favorite joke of my dad's:

Dad: What was the occupation of the Three Wise Men?

Pedantic Daughter Answering Question Literally: Weren't they basically astrologers?

Dad: No, they were firemen.

Pedantic Daughter: Wha?

Dad: You know: "Three wise men came from afar."

What is even happening?

The president asks for a potty break.
Oh dear, how humiliating.

Should they even be allowed to photograph world leaders' notes during a Security Council meeting, though? I mean, what if that had said, "Screw China. They're going down!"

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I despise Sarah Jane Smith! I thought she'd been eaten or something and put out of my misery!

Wheras she was my favorite of the companions and I'm delighted by her return.

Not so thrilled about the NWA bankruptcy filing though. It's one of the biggest employers in Memphis, and basically the reason Fed Ex is headquartered there.

yestaday

There's a guy I work with who has an otherwise generic non-accent, but then he slips in "yestaday" and throws me for a loop.
