What is even happening?

Help...

Ben has science homework. One of the questions on the page is:

Find out what happened to the following hurricanes:
Franklin:
Gert:
Dennis:

I'm here [link]

I'm having no luck.

This [link] seems to imply Franklin remained a tropical storm, but other google hits seem to imply otherwise.

I'm frustrated with the teacher's lack of instructions, because she gave the kids no indication of where they are to look for this information, and the question provides no context to help figure out what sort of information she's expecting to see. I can only imagine how the mothers who don't use the internet are feeling right now.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I really don't think it would change anyone's opinion about him.

No, but I would find it funny. Isn't that enough?

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

Wikipedia also has info on the 2005 hurricane season: here.

You misunderstood me. I don't see why he needs to censor himself. Heck, with his voice and the way he talks out of the side of his mouth, he's already almost a self-parody.

Ah, gotcha. And yeah, I don't think anyone's under the illusion that Cheney's a polite soft-spoken gentleman. He should be comfortable with just being himself. In front of as many cameras as possible.

WHOA! Preston is my great-grandmother's maiden name and on the very short list of names I would use for a child. I AM APPALLED that Britney stole it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's what you get for not sprogging first. So sorry.
