I'm completely eh on Mig. Marty I find a little creepy, in a good way. JD seems to have too much attitude to be likeable. Suzie can crank it out when she's on.

To continue my simple sentences....

Heather's reports are good to have.

I hate writing up minutes and waiting for people to send me info.

I watched Bones. I could like it. Even would be ok if it is so bad that I like it. But if it goes bland, I will not like it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, it's his background, huh? But musically, he's got the best chops. My personal favorite is Suzie, but that's probably just the gender bias thing.

JD's voice is great, but he smacks of being a dick.

And yeah, totally. They asked him, did he think he would cause them problems and he was all, no. But it's because it's all about him, and how could he possibly cause any problems? They may think they can handle him, though.

To expand on the JD thing- lots of attitude, not much charisma to show for it.

Marty does that crazy intense eyes thing, but I dunno how well that will translate to large venues without big giant screens with close-ups of his face. I found his stage banter in the two-song set underwhelming. But that all sounds way more negative than I feel about him. I like him and I think he sings well and could pull it off.

I miss Ty, though.

My sistah in boycott!

Moi?

To be honest, I don't get the WB on our satellite package, so no altruism is involved.

Silence means security silence means approval

Shaq, all is forgiven for Kazaam!

He's close to becoming a Miami Beach reserve officer; he was getting fitted for his uniform. And his goal in life? To become a city police chief or county sheriff. I kid thee not.

And last week, he sent out a call in the Miami area to help fill a set of semi trailers full of supplies for Katrina victims. Some of the people who showed up had their vehicles unloaded by Shaq himself.

I think he wants to be a superhero.

I only catch the INXS thing sporadically, which is a shame, because I like it, and I have inexplicable mad love for Dave Navarro (yes, we've had the is he hot or is he just skanky convo here before). Marty is the blond, thin guy? I can't decide whether I like him or not, though I do kind of want to make him soup, which is not a feeling I usually get.

I think I like the woman who sang Bohemian Rhapsody a couple of weeks ago the best. Those two are the ones who've made the most impression. But, again, sproadic viewing could be slanting my view.

I had a meeting this morning, and 3 of the other 4 people attending watched Bones last night. Everyone agreed that it was awful, but I was kind of astonished that they'd all seen it. I'm not used to watching shows that are on real networks.

Aw, I caught a mini-marathon of It Takes a Thief one night a while back and was totally sucked in. Why is it on at 5 PM weekdays? The Discovery channel is mean.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Aww. Good on Shaq.

I watched GG last night, tried to watch Bones, but fell asleep, and still have that, House, Supernatural and Rescue Me on the tivo. Imma be a tv watchin fool tonight.

Heather's reports are good to have.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if anyone was interested, but while I'm sure some mistakes were made by some state and local officials, I don't think they're to blame for the awfulness, and to me it seems like they're the family in the car that's sinking to the bottom of the river. Maybe they should've gotten one of those escape hammer thingies. Maybe they shouldn't have taken the route over the bridge, but at that point I'm more interested in what the people outside the car did to help them. If that analogy makes any sense.

Also, the most fascinating guy on one of our public radio shows. He was talking about this book he wrote. I'm going to get it for us next week I think.
