"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Curious story on the news this morning about Shaquille O'Neal witnessing a man who shouted a bunch of slurs and threw a bottle at a gay couple. Shaq apparently called the cops and then tailed the guy until the police got him.

Shaq, all is forgiven for Kazaam!

Because books.

The montage in House didn't bother me. And Bones was surprisingly watchable. I thought DB looked pretty good, although did they make his hair reddish? Maybe it was just our TV. Didn't blow me away, but decent viewing for an hour.

I missed Supernatural, and didn't tape GG, which I caught in reruns all summer. Too much damned stuff is scheduled for Tuesday night.

Coding and Sleeping

I didn't watch Bones (or any TV save for an episode of the Muppet Show with my kids), but I'd still like to have an opinion on it. Therefore, I'm going to say that it didn't leave an impression with me.

Aw, it wasn't that bad. Just [spoiler]. The episode overall was excellent.

I normally like House. I probably would have liked this one too. I think I was just lazy about changing the channel after GG.

Plus I was kind of interested in Supernatural.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Cool info, Heather. The extent of the damage in NO is almost incomprehensible... and my anger that so much of it was preventable is nearly as.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Heather, thank you for posting that.

I'ma gonna go smack someone with it now.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Ok-- I need a little more help on the work study/math thing.

Ok-- if a student has workstudy it pays 75% of their pay. The department pays 25%. The way it is written it says that there is a 75/25 split. We want our 25% to be $250.00. The student should be paid $1000, right?

The AA (who is my friend) is reading the 75/25 split as taking 75% of $250.00 and adding it to $250. So she thinks we would pay the student a total of 437.50. But then, if we pay 25% of that, then it is $109.37, right?

I am so confused

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Department pays 250, financial aid pays 750, and your friend is making things way too complicated.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

also watched RS:INXS and have been enjoying it. I know. But go Mig, choose Mig.

I've been watching that, too. I really dig Suzie and Mig. Either one would make me happy. I like Marty, but his voice isn't as strong. JD's voice is great, but he smacks of being a dick.
