No new TV for me yet. I'd meant to catch Supernatural. I'll try for one of the re-airings, which I didn't know about, but yay.

I watched Supernatural. (Dude, I ended up watching all four shows--er, GG, House, Bones and Supernatural--last night. There is no end in my devotion to my vocation as a couch-potato.) It was very silly, but kind of fun, and the boys were very pretty if bland. I had better time watching it than the first half hour of Bones, which I frankly thought was godawful.

Also, Kate, aren't you now in school again? They often offer student health insurance, which might be worth looking into.

You know, I hadn't even thought of that. Do you mean that I could get health insurance through the school, or that COBRA or another agency would offer a discounted rate for students?

Why do I have to write up meeting minutes on the day that a lot of handouts (which aren't online) were passed about? I'm very tempted to simply type the header and "see the handout that is probably in that pile of stuff you aren't reading on the corner of your desk."

Of course, the one item that didn't have a handout also happens to be the one I understood the least, so my notes are kinda failing me here.

I watched Bones and House, RS:INXS and Rescue Me last night and then watched my tape of GG this morning.

I thought that the Paris lines quoted above were great -- she totally gets the best lines.

I believe that Rory is already regretting her decision. Ha. She is such an idiot.

Bones was just okay. . . NOT better than GG and I cannot believe that they pulled out the "Hallelujah" cliche already!!

Thanks for the advice, all. I'll apply for the job and see what happens; it's good to be sending off resumes and maybe doing some interviews, anyway.

In other news, I finished my purse book in bed this morning, and then FORGOT to put another book in my purse for lunch today! What will I do?? Maybe I can swing by Buck-A-Book (which appears to have changed its name to WORDZ, wtf?) and see if anything there is appealing.

See, I will definitely catch this on rewatch... that's exactly how it looked in previews. Also, I just realized that I lied - I have seen the pilot for Bones, and I didn't like it, which made me a little sad.

I watched Supernatural, instead of House (due to being spoiled about the horrible montage everyone mentioned). I liked it. It was, as Vonnie said, silly and stupid, but fun.

I liked Bones. Not sufficiently to assume an unfortunate nickname or anything, but still. I thought the dynamics had potential.

I also watched RS:INXS and have been enjoying it. I know. But go Mig, choose Mig. Anyway, they'll probably get my ticket money if it ends up being any three out of the four left.

Furthermore, I'm so happy to see It Takes a Thief on again. What a freaking haul! And it's a win-win, either the people are clueless and I can cheer for Jon Douglas Rainey or the people reform and I can feel warm and fuzzy about their new home security.

What else? I'm with Steph on the no medical dramas thing. I guess I've sat in enough waiting rooms to feel that it's not entertainment. I may be coming around to feel that way about prison shows, too, but not yet. I almost watched this week's House because I was interested in the premise, but I didn't.

Which is to say, I was interested by Prison Break, although not compelled to continue yet.

In other news, our hookup to the tribal utility just passed inspection, so it's possible that within hours (hours!) we could have water. Reliable water that comes out of the tap! That doesn't have to be hauled in by truck! That doesn't cost an arm and a leg for the thousand gallons! Oh please oh please oh please.
