Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Also, I need to go brush my teeth and go to bed. But I've been standing on my feet for over six hours today, and my legs don't want to take me up and down all the stairs going to bed requires. A hot bath is probably the best idea, even though I feel so tired that it is a distinct possibility that I'll fall asleep in the tub, especially because my eyes are running and my nose is stuffed up from some sort of random allergy attack.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I DO plan on coming to LA for a week in October, though.

Ooh, make sure you include a weekend, and I will drive down.

What sre you doing at the end of September, and do you like your job?

Plei! Lily is the cutest! Those are such sweet pictures!

The job is okay. I like the customers, but I'm not sold yet on working on commision. Since I'm still in training, I haven't really been given the opportunity to do all that much, so I'm just about breaking even, once I buy lunch. Plus, I'm pretty terrible at talking people into spending thousands of dollars on pictures, mostly because I think $5000 is the most ridiculous price ever. And the makeup thing has been difficult because they were apparently expecting a large shipment of makeup, but in the meantime I was forced to use like, one tube of lip gloss, three shades of foundation, and q-tips for applications. Also, they apparently have incredibly quick employee turnover, which makes me a little nervous. Which sounds like a lot of complaining, but really, so far, so good.

People spend that much?? Oy. But I'm glad it's not completely sucking.

I will absolutely include a weekend, Perkins. The real difficulty is going to be talking myself into going back to NY, where I will know winter awaits.

And I'm going on a Caribbean cruise at the end of September, since I found a crazy good deal.

I've missed you guys! So I feel kind of bad saying I need to go, but it's 2:40, and I think I have a bath in my future, and I'm exhausted.

So, night night! Sweet dreams!

No. That's pretty much the initial price, and they work their way down from there. Most people end up spending around $500, and walk out with a bad case of sticker shock, and, like, one picture.

Plei, remember the jewelry box I linked to yesterday? I found someone who sells it in black and who has a better approval rating, so I think I am going to get one: [link]
