Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Ignore the siren call of the blue box, Gus, and figure ancient math with me.

(Do ancient math with me/ The best is yet to be...)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Brenda, yeah, it struck me at my last post that I haven't yet adjusted my watch-n-posting to the TiVo.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Although, if forensic anthropologists really had access to holographic reconstruction machines like that, I might go back to school.

You know, I totally get not being down with the "new math," Emily, but don't you think you're regressing a little too far?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ignore the siren call of the blue box, Gus, and figure ancient math with me.

Foolish mortal, to think that you can resist the TARDIS.

I keep wanting machines like that for Latin scholars. And historians. And rhetoricians and cell biologists and discrete mathematicians and political philosophers. Just because they'd be cool. But the budget mostly covers iPods and horrible course websites. Sigh. and she hates psychology!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Anyone else think DB looks younger on this show than he did on Angel? I think it's the gubment suit. No one can look either sexy or adult in them, they make everyone look like they're dressing up in their daddy's clothes.

He does look younger. He's lost weight. And I think he looks good in a suit.
