Christopher just said, "Mommy, what does 'take over the world' mean?"
Heh! You might want to make sure he gets plenty of cupcakes, so he'll think well of you when he's Fullfilled his Destiny.

Stephanie, it's on the right if you're headed toward Chapel Hill. Kind of a tumbledown barn looking place, as if it'd been there for a zillion years, which I think it has. Best BBQ ever.
Stop making me want doughnuts.
But pig is better eatin'. Pulled pork, ham, bacon...mmmm....
standing in the pig corner with Susan
Probably has to do with our Alabama roots, but I completely agree with you. Pig is tasty.
cupcakes are merely delivery systems for the frosting
This is Franny's opinion. She considers the cupcake to be a plate.
Won't eat them now. The sugar crash would be so hard, I'd probably dent the floor.
I have had a Krispy Kreme hot from the line once. The sugar vaporized as soon as it hit my mouth; my eyes dilated, my heart sped up, and I apparently became a touch hyper and incoherent. No more KKs for me.
I have realized that I like my own buttercreams better than those at Cupcake Royale
Yours are a touch better, but Cupcake Royale is somewhat closer for Pete to go to and get me a 'you will feel better tomorrow' treat.
I wonder if one of those is a place some friends swore by. Really rustic meat & three type place. Just rough benches and picnic tables. You didn't "order" anything , you ate what they served you The meal might vary a little in terms of whether you got collard greens or green beans and what kind of cobbler or dessert you got, but it was basically bbq, mashed potatos, corn on the cob, some bacon grease cooked veggie, biscuits, gravy and sweet tea.
I went there once. I mainly remember the corn and the biscuits.
A Fry Daddy?
What is this thing? It sounds fabulous. I love Things That Are Fried.
Bear in mind that I never had a donut that wasn't from Krispy Kreme until I was 18. So to me they're what a donut is supposed to taste like, and the others are all too heavy and dense, even when they taste OK.
I've mentioned it before, but I grew up eating greasy cake donuts made at the local cider mill every year, so to me, that's what a donut is supposed to taste like. KKs, while good, taste sort of like spun sugar to me. They're not heavy and dense enough.
Also, according to my childhood experiences, donuts are an autumn food, usually consumed in September and October.
I apparently became a touch hyper and incoherent. No more KKs for me.
Really? Damn, because I would pay cash money to watch this in person at the end of October.
