Somewhere above, the mention of various odd ingredient combinations made me want a spinach hazelnut burger. So good. And I've only ever seen them at a wacky nightclub/lounge/cafe/art gallery place very very far from me right now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love beets!

There, I said it.

I also just accidentally answered the phone for some weird telemarketing scam thing, I'm sure. She was all, "DON'T MISUNDERSTAND ME! We want to send you three magazines FREE for FIVE YEARS!!" I was like, "NO REALLY. I don't want them!"

In news news, I'm watching the Roberts hearings a little bit, and he just basically said (in somewhat code) that his past work doesn't mean shit wrt what he'll do on the court. FYI.

Jesse! My beet-loving sister! (Only fresh cooked ones - no canned or pickled, though.)

Our system is still basically down. It's been 48 hours now. They're now saying "this afternoon..."

I like all kinds of beets -- canned, pickled, Harvard, roasted, etc. etc. I don't see where they have much natural flavor, so I don't quite understand why anyone hates them. They're so pretty!

I need to go vote. Then homework. Then errands. Then school. Hmph.

I don't think I've ever encountered beets that weren't out of a can. I've had some beet salads that were really tasty, those might not have been. And I do like borscht.

I'm a little charmed at the notion of having to refuse three times.

Now I want to try "Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!" on them. Although actually the Greek telemarketers aren't as pushy.

I think I used to like magenta beets, but I don't anymore. And I don't think I've ever had fresh beets.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Does anyone know what the opposite of "Payee" is? I am trying to make a reciept and 'Recieved from' doesn't fit in the space I have!

Also, I used to LOVE pickled beets as a child. I's gorge myself on them. Then this one day, when I was about 2 or 3 I ate a lot of beets and I peed red in the bunny toilet at nursery school. Which led everyone there to think i was VERY ill and put me to bed in a crib with no pillow (I had a bed by that point). I was very reluctant to eat beets afterward.

Payer?

Speaking of Lucky Failure Man, was the news about his daughters being coke-heads actual news, or just gossip? I mean, is there a public record of arrest or something?

Also, I hadn't heard that Laura Bush didn't know the name of Hurricane Katrina a week after it hit New Orleans. Clearly they need to upgrade her chip to Stepford XP.
