I would do that, if I knew anything about the Sabbath. Working on Sunday sucks. This is the extent of my knowledge.
That's good enough, honestly. A literal translation from the Hebrew:
"And on the seventh day, the LORD rested. 'Working seven days in a row sucks,' said the LORD, as he cracked open a brewski and plopped his omnipotent ass on the La-Z-Boy."
Translators tend to gloss over the beer and La-Z-Boy part.
Although the seventh day is Saturday.
Did you know that the USA will soon have a pre-emptive strike nuclear weapons policy? This scared the fuck out of me. Now, moving to Canada won't be enough. I have to escape the planet?
WASHINGTON -- The Pentagon has drafted a revised doctrine for the use of nuclear weapons that envisions commanders requesting presidential approval to pre-empt an attack by a nation or terror group using weapons of mass destruction. The draft also includes the option of using nuclear arms to destroy known enemy stockpiles of nuclear, biological or chemical weapons.
The document, written by the Pentagon's Joint Chiefs staff but not yet approved by Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, would update rules and procedures governing the use of nuclear weapons to reflect a pre-emption strategy announced by the Bush White House in December 2002. The strategy was outlined in more detail at the time in classified national security directives.

How do you know? The Bible says "seven days" but doesn't give a day of the week. I mean, it could be Wednesday.
Honestly, I think most of the work happened on Wednesday and Thursday. And Friday featured a three-hour lunch.
The Sabbath is Saturday. This was the day of rest until Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday. Saturday still is the day of rest for Jews.

Hasn't been approved yet. Dunno how likely it is to be approved.

to pre-empt an attack by a nation or terror group...
The thing that scares me pale is that bit about "terror group". If Bush/Rumsfeld are doing the defining of the term, I am opting out.

I do all my good stuff on Tuesday, just to frack with the minds of management.
Just by way of saying a thing ... this is 9/11, and no one has remarked on it.
I'm afraid if I do, I'll start to cry. I'm not being facetious; I've been crying all day.
Today - I was in downtown SF. a couple of navy planes went over the city -low and loud. Sept 11th was on everyone's face.
