Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

I love it when corporate marketers get creative (another Tribune story):

No 'Bean' today: Millennium Park closed

Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. paid $800,000 to have the city close the 24.5-acre downtown park so thousands of car dealers and corporate personnel could make it their own...

Representatives of one of Toyota's biggest competitors, General Motors, were taking advantage of any public ire over the park's closing.

They stood outside Millennium Park, handing out goodie bags and offering free rides to the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier, Water Tower Place, John Hancock Building and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'd be pissed too, considering how much us taxpayers paid for the giant silver bean.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

WTF, Jesse?

Also, if you can't be bothered to keep track, I don't think you get to expense the damn tip.

OK, one more post on FSM: Help the Cause

Media-Whore FSM needs a strong believer who "gets" what we are doing, willing to be in the spotlight (tv/radio) expressing our views. Academic credentials will be helpful as far as giving credence to our beliefs.

Academic Support The next phase of the project is the Enlightenment Institute, a FSM think-tank that will seek to gather evidence in support of our priori assumption that the FSM created the universe (because this is clearly legit scientific methodology). Specious reasoning is encouraged. All areas of science must be covered. We're in brainstorm mode. Get in contact with me.

On the pirate-front Anyone with a sturdy pirate-ship willing to help spread the word of Him, please let me know.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I don't like today. Can someone make it go away now?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm all set with today, too, Perkins. You want go go find a pirate ship to spread the word of FSM?

I'm consoling myself with the thought that my boss will totally get in trouble for trying to get reimbursed for stuff from last fiscal year.

Tomorrow is Friday, if that helps. Of course, I've been a day off since yesterday--woke up thinking it was Thursday, and initially thought today was Friday this morning. Boy, was I disappointed to realize it wasn't.

Sometimes, I hate holiday workweeks. After Monday off, I'm all kerfuzzled the whole damn week.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Oooh, can I come? I'm ready to end today at any time.

Wishing Rush got haunted like Tommy from "Rescue Me".

Personally, I'd prefer he get haunted like Martin Henderson in The Ring or the victims in the Ju-on movies.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Martin Henderson's hot.

I can't find my boss to tell her I have to leave. We haven't even caught up since her return. There's no way this'll look good. I hope it doesn't look bad.
