No point in dancing around it. This is a scary link.
Great. I have PT at three, which means I leave the office at 2, latest. This means I'm near home and can errand better, but also -- dude, lots of time out of office, and I'm off work next week. Pfft. Also, grr. But whee!
Man, I might be a little bit in love with Scott McLellan. I am just fascinated by his reality.
I know that's perverted and wrong though. He provides such mindboggling yet entertaining press conferences!
McClellan is the proverbial brick wall. The one you can't talk to, the one you bang your head against.
This is how it's going to be, isn't it? Pretty soon Bush will be on the air praising the heads of FEMA and Homeland Security to the heavens, and there will never be any mention of any problem. Any question about accountability will be met with the same brick wall. The administration won't let the question be posed. They won't even have to get to denial of accountability; they're denying the problem. There'll be no reckoning. No one will be held responsible. Nothing that's broken will be fixed. Bush rejects reality and replaces it with his own. The press and the public and the victims can be outraged, but there's nothing to fight against; the wrongdoers just smile vacantly and tell us the problem is with US. This is how it's going to be, for three more goddamn years. Heaven help us if there's another disaster before we can get rid of this administration and its fetid legacy.
I'm so furious and frustrated. I can help as much as I can, but it's not enough. Nothing will be enough until that crazy soulless man is out of the White House.
There's a mayoral candidate in Cincinatti who says that only born-again Christians should be allowed to run for office.
:headdesk headdesk:
Assholes do vex us!!! (Sorry, Robin Williams flashback...)

I read somewhere that Guliani has endorsed him.
The Con Plague has taken up residence in my lungs and doesn't want to go away. I keep having coughing fits that send my co workers scurrying away.
Since I was wheezing last night in bed I called the Dr to find out if I need to go in and get this looked at, or if I'd be okay. (I've had lung issues before). The nurse kept asking ifI just wanted something called in to the pharamcy. She didn't seem to grasp that if I'm not sick enough for medicine then I don't want any.
That is cool. Maybe someday we'll be mining Ceres for water.
