Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I understand the logistical difficulties involved in dealing with lots of small donations. But I suspect I'm not the only one who'd like to help but don't have cash to donate.

I'll be digging through the cold weather clothes to donate locally, but probably not before October.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Really, I'm saying that's probably exactly what you should do -- give clothes locally. There are people with cash to give to the gulf, and people near you who will need the clothes.

Of course, if there are orgs down there who are equipped to take in clothes and etc., by all means do that. I'm just not surprised that many orgs can't handle all that's being offered right now.

Actually, on second thought, it might make more sense to wait a few weeks and then call the places that can't take the stuff now. They might be able to, later.

I found a church that is taking a semi of stuff to Mississippi. It's done.

Right on.

In news about me, I'm trying to decide which days it makes sense for me to work this semester. Do I work all day and then have class from 6-10, or do I get up for work the morning after I have class til 10? Hmm. Once again, I do not understand how people work full time and go to class.

I'd probably want the time before class to finish anything I needed to have done for class. I'm a procrastinator, though.

Oh yeah, I forgot I thought of that aspect, too. I think I will go with that. I have class tomorrow night, too, but only the one class. For which I have reading I have to print out and read already. Oops.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Jesse, is it helpful if clothes donated are marked by size?

If I'm donating a box of size 12 skirts, for example, followed by size large sweaters?

I have sheet sets that are clean and pretty, sorted out with their matching pillow cases. How should those be packaged to make it easier for sorting?

I figure I'll wait a few weeks to donate them somewhere.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Perkins--half of next weekend. I am hoping to make it back early Saturday, but my tickets are on Northwest, which is having some delays and cancellations due to their mechanics strike.

I am watching Prison Break and I am not getting the Wentworth love. He doesn't seem to be much of an actor and he looks kinda like a monkey. Nice voice and nice lips but leaves me bored.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Well, if you make it back before 7:00 on Saturday the 17th and feel up to it, I'd love to see you at Dukes. If not, maybe brunch on Sunday.
