Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Oh, Dana. That's great news! Yay!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Excellent news, Dana.

Our wings are not tired.

That is so good to hear Dana.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Well, I don't see anything wrong with acknowledging one of the companies that stepped forward first, probably encouraging a lot of others to do the same. Especially in the absence of any federal activity worthy of note.

Oh, I definitely think that the company did some great things, and that $15 million donation is a wonderful amount, especially in light of the fact that they have to answer to their shareholders. However, the family donation of $8 million is what the ThinkProgress people are questioning, especially Bush41's praise of them. I'm guessing we're not going to be hearing much praise from the same quarter when Gates/Hollywood/other wealthy liberal Democrats start ponying up the big bucks.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dana, that's marvellous.

What is even happening?

Dana, I'm so glad you've had some good news. Are you parents heading to your place to stay for a while, now?

...

Re the Walton donation: People that are worth 90 gajillion dollars don't have it in liquid form. I think that's a terrific gift. I don't care what they're worth. If someone calculated what I'm worth (house, etc.) my donation would look more like shit than it does already, too.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

That 90 billion is their collective 38% ownership in Walmart. Of all things to concentrate on...really. That could very well be the largest individual donation so far.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That is good news, Dana!

Excellent!

Hee. I wish I could remember what magazine I saw that in (a few years ago). Gotta love Google image search, though.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Dana, that's fantastic.
