I know I'm a bad poet, but I'm a good man. All I ask is that... is that you try to see me—

I wasn't around for the Arrayathon, but grateful nonetheless that you sacrificed your day on the alter of b.org, ita.

Hey, I just realized there's a Joss-a-thon on Space. I thought I'd still be entertaining parents...

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ack, Consuela. I'm glad your mother is okay, and hope the trip in October isn't too bad.

I was going to do 10 zillion loads of laundry today, but since my complex only has 3 machines, I told myself I'd stop whenever I knew someone else wanted the machines. That happened after only 4 loads, so now I have all the essentials washed, and I get to stop, at least for now. Yay!

Suela, is there financial need for them to sell the vacation house? Would they consider putting it in trust for you and your sibs to inherit? Alternately, if you joined forces with your sibs, would you collectively be able to buy it?

signed, very sentimental about houses as some of you know

Silence means security silence means approval

And they gave me trippy dreams...

I had extremely vivid dreams from meflaquin. In one, an axe murderer was attacking my family.

Paludrine I think was responsible for me not getting a sunburn -- or a tan -- after eight weeks in the African sun.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Has anyone heard anything about the following?

The reason why the levee broke in NO was because barges slammed into it?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't need to start malaria meds (malarone) until I leave. So right now it's just the annoying every-other-day of the typhoid meds. Hard to remember, and because of the empty stomach thing, it's not like I can take them as soon as I remember.

Jesse, once you've recorded them they stay, no matter what you can receive.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The reason why the levee broke in NO was because barges slammed into it?

I've heard that the surge went over the flood wall and then undermined the base, which gave out. It was not unexpected that a Category 4 storm could take out a floodwall designed to only withstand a Cat 3 storm.

But maybe I'm missing some recent news.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ita, Lori is using your pre-travel med experiences as a justification for why we shouldn't go someplace really exotic (which I'm arguing for) January and February.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, once you've recorded them they stay, no matter what you can receive.

Nice. I figured, but would have been very sad if they were all gone tomorrow.

Don't get typhoid, ita!!!
