Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

kettle popcorn?

Yes! Brilliant example.

Trail mix, depending, can work for me, too. I think a really good chocolate covered pretzel (I don't usually like them) once opened my eyes a bit, too.

I'm not sure I'd count on that story being sweet, if Lee followed the source at all. Moving, certainly.

Cinnamon in chile-d black beans! Is awesome!

2 cans black beans poured over sauteed onions and garlic. Add green chile, salt, pepper. Let bubble and stir. Add cooked chicken if so inclined. Quickly cover with a layer of cinnamon. Stir. Cook s'more. Mash stuff. SO GOOD.

I got taught the delight of cinnamon in beans by a NO native. It really makes the flavor richer.

(I'm probably offending people six ways from sunday with my non-slash interested thing and associated assumptions. It's just...it doesn't do anything for me. Go yay, no problem with it, it just isn't a personal oomph.)

I was just going to champion chocolate covered pretzels, but you already got there. I like chocolate + nuts of some kind. Preferably cashews and sometimes almonds.

Brokeback Mountain? Not going to be sweet. Probably will be salty.

I don't mind foods crossing the sweet/salt divide. I love moles which is all about the mash of sweet and salt and spicey.

Oh. I guess if I had to have a third category it would be spicey.

Gonna make me cry? That'll do.

I don't think I've ever had a good mole (I bought a jar of something once, but... yuck). I should try to rectify that at some point.

Spicy and Salty are on the same side of the Divide in my world. But, again, there can be exceptions.

Prolly. Possibly. How easy do you cry?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That trailer broke me. The movie should be something else.

The whole wheat bread I just had a sandwich on was distinctly sweet. Odd.
