Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It would only be cosmic justice if you threw up on his shoes, Brenda!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is cool - the world's first photograph: [link]

Taken in 1826. It required an exposure time of 8 hours.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Dana, I am so relieved that your parents are OK and that you've spoken to them.

Heather, I'm also glad theat your people are accounted for.

It's the little things.

I've been thinking of you both, as well as -t and her husband, and praying hard these last couple days. (first I typed "weeks" there and realized how much damage has been done in such little time.) (God.)

Trust my rage

Just dropping in to say that I'm so relieved for Dana and Heather that their families have checked in. I know -t is safe, but it would still be good to hear from her.

Swouncing

I was coming to post what Nora just wrote, and then she typed it for me (thanks, Nora!). So Dana, Heather - I'm very relieved for you.

[Edit: I have something to post that isn't just copying Nora: Stephanie! Congratulations!]

(thanks, Nora!)

No problem, I hope it means I have access to your brain in the future...

Nilly, I'm watching the Firefly DVDs slowly, and realized that I need to read your analyses again, as I go through. Are they linked anywhere?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nora, they're linked to from the links page, and are here.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So...25K of the people in the Superdome are being moved via bus convoy to the Houston Astrodome.

So, about two or three hundred people dressed up as zombies and invaded an upscale shopping mall in Vancouver: [link]

Also, a group of zombies recently attended the American Idol auditions in Austin: [link]

Most of the 100 or so young people gathered outside had just been rejected by the "American Idol" review board, and they were talking, singing and waiting for rides home when the zombies arrived. "Braaaaaaains!" the zombies said.

It's things like this that restore my faith in humanity.
