Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Go team Fay!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It's probably happening, but what a waste of effort for people to steal stuff they don't need RIGHT NOW. Where to put it? If jewelry, where sell it? What you gonna do with all those jeans?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder if there was electronics looting. Might have seemed like a good idea at the time ... I mean, the cool kids always grab TVs...

Silence means security silence means approval

You now how the I-10 Twin Span is gone? Check out the US 90 bridge in Biloxi.

I guess you can float it home.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Nerf.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Jewelry is small and easy to hang onto. Jeans dry out just fine. Both could be sold or traded sooner or later.

Rich folks have insurance payments coming. Poor foks sorta need to improvise.

Again, not saying it's right, but its not necessarily super scum sucker wrong either. People with bread will make money in the coming months buying up land, etc. cheap and that will be perfectly legal and very scum-sucky wrong (to me anyway).

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'd obviously make a terrible survivalist. Here I am thinking, find a safe spot and help others get to a safe spot where we can secure some food and water. Meanwhile, I could be stealing a nice diamond necklace, jeans or an IPod. *shrug*

Just make sure the iPod is fully charged before you grab it....
