"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Well one, with family in tow, is up here with us. They're ok, but doing much drinking with us tonight. The other is with my uncle in Shreveport, and I haven't heard how she is. I had an email from the friend earlier which was pretty much "Well, we've always wanted to move to Tennessee."

BTW. And I'm grasping at good shit here, did anyone read the beep me about Jon's bar? That place was good to me today and kept me as far as they could from the craxy.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Prison Break: I just kept counting the number of things he hadn't taken into account in his "flawless" plan.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Is that HIM pulling the trigger?

I did! It sounds very cool.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Yeah, it's hard to tell from Wentworth Miller's face when he is completely surprised by something or knew about it all along. This is not always a good thing.

It's a good thing he's so pretty.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

During college, when I volunteer tutored in the public schools, the kids always addressed me as Miss or Miss Hillary. (In fact, I'm pretty sure that it was Louisiana state law that school kids in public schools address their teachers either by Title Lastname or Ma'am or Sir.)

Shit. Hope all those kids are OK.

I'm trying to think...Oh, the last line about drag queens playing basketball, better than that, last weekend we had Sugar seen here molesting the mariachi band who wanders in from time to time.

So. Fucking. Surreal.

Yeah, he plays it pretty close to his vest, but I thought it was good. Maybe I was just starring so intently at his face that I was taking every twitch as nuance.

I think you mean Title Firstname, but it's not just teachers, it's adults with whom we are familiar and friendly.

Actually, I was misremembering slightly, and it was a bit of a semi-non-sequitor. What I was trying to remember was this

Students in Louisiana's grade schools will have to address teachers and other officials as "sir" and "ma'am" when they return to class after the summer break. A bill signed this month by Gov. Mike Foster mandates this show of respect
