I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Who loves Apple more than me???

Hee. I will see what I can do. I may have it wrong-- it may be "I visited the mother land" not ship. If I weren't lazy, I would go look and see.

That strassbourg sock looks uncomfortable.

actually, it's not that uncomfortable. But nor is it holding my foot at an acute enough angle.

Silence means security silence means approval

Pity me, for we had to read it in Latin.

Ditto. Minored in Latin.

That looks very uncomfortable. x-posty!

Well, I only had a few minutes to play tonight. I spent the whole day dragging clutter down to my basement storage area and vacuuming and doing 4 loads of laundry. I am pooped.

Good luck to any Buffistas and family in Katrina's path.

That looks very uncomfortable.

Not nearly as uncomfortable as the shooting pain in my heel in the morning when I don't wear it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Minored in Latin.

If I'd harboured any ideas about minoring in Latin ... well, the Aeneid killed them for me.

Still, how else was I to learn the word coruscating? Trust me, a sixteen year old has to work to get that into conversation.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hell, I can get you a t-shirt that says "I visited the mother ship".

Need.

Kat, I've been wearing an Ace elastic and velcro thing that has helped me.

Ow. Kat. Both for the sock and the heel pain.

I have serious back issues when I wake up. I've committed to myself that, if I win the Disney (pleasegodpleasegodpleasegod), I will buy a new freaking bed. A good one.

Also, to all my Apple loving folk, did anyone have a PowerBook battery that was recalled? If so, did you get your new one yet? I'm wondering if my request went through or not since I haven't heard a peep.

And Perkins, did you see the pictures I posted when I got the mini? I'm such a dork.
