The worlds-colliding things is strange. When 3 friends were poking their heads at b.org last year to catch up on me in the USA (on top of my e-mails, and I gave them the link), it was so strange for me to have them mention names of Buffistas. And that's without any sort of actual meeting anybody, not even any sort of one-on-one interaction.

If I really have to be able to breathe through my nose, I breathe steam to get out the gunk that's already in my sinuses, then use a nasal spray plus my usual antihistamine.

I require bacon. I might be able to drag myself through the rest of the work day if I get bacon.

Um, I won't get into the whole list, OK? I was counting those sort of sayings on that brit I mentioned as a way to keep me entertained, but I don't think b.org should be submitted to it.

Fiona, the pictures have, in the local vernacular, keeled me ded. She's just beautiful, and the boy is cuter than cute. The ones of them together are almost unbearably beautiful.

The dating your physical resemblor, though? All through early adolescence up till today, my romantic fantasy figure has been lean, dark, craggy, with dark eyes and cheekbones. Every guy I ever dated seriously, or with whom the relationship progressed beyond merely dating? A little taller than me, average weight for his height, sandy blond to brown hair (mine has ranged from dark blond in my early teens to dark brown), and eyes in a range of blue to grey to green. And ever since DH and I have been together, people who know one of us and meet the other have always commented how alike we are.

You know, except for the fact that he has a beard. I did *not* ask for a comment on my beard.

Truth is, the guy who kept on dating me only because I understood a CS algorithm, despite every other thing about me being wrong for him, bothered me more. But I've thrown a large paragraph on that already, so that's all better.
