When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Happy Birthday, Casper!!!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh dear. I hear that Katrina has been upgraded to Cat 5.

I hope it swerves and hits Crawford.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I hope it swerves and hits Crawford.

Sadly, they'd evacuate the Shrub and leave all the poor folks stuck there. I think if Mother Nature wants to take him out a rattle snake on his bike trail might be a better option.

And while I'm channelling Pat Robertson, why not take out this asswipe?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Have you heard the Arrogant Worms' song, The War Of 1812?

I don't think so.

The National Weather Service guy being interviewed on NPR just said "potentially catastrophic." I take that kind of phrasing much more seriousy from them than from the Weather Channel. Yeesh.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Weather Channel Website says Katrina's winds are up to 175.

This could be worse than Camille.

When you realize only three catagory 5 hurricanes have hit in the history of hurricane record keeping, yeah, that's some scary stuff. I hope anyone on the gulf-coast is beating feet out of their right now or hunkered down somewhere relatively safe.

But, you know, there's nothing to global warming.

My non-Buffista NOLA friends are 50% evacuated, 50% staying there. I'm pretty worried for them, and everybody.
