The grandparents don't go with the parents?
Sort of the other way around, apparently. The elder generation has very strong feelings about where they want to go.
God, and my cousin's wedding is next week. He and his fiancee must be stressed to hell and back.
Damn you, bon bon -- I just flipped to Current to see what all the hoopla is about, and not only was REAGAN on it, he was talking about the Challenger disaster. That is NEITHER goofy NOR appealing.
I guess I"ll take a shower.
I was supposed to go to a wedding today. I don't know if they're rescheduling or what, but they certainly won't have many guests, if any.
OK, the content isn't necessarily goofy. The Challenger thing wasn't on when I was writing, but I still liked seeing the whole presidential address. Before that they aired Dan Rather's CBS news piece from the night of the disaster.
Seeing the whole thing would have been OK, but just the tail end was bleh. So I'm back to VH-1.
I had beef patties! This made up for my subpar lunch at my meeting.
I'm on my second iced chai latte. Mmmmm.
I'm about ot have my second italian soda.
On the subject of musical brainbugs, this morning I had the following Belle and Sebastian verse stuck in my head:
San Francisco’s calling us, the Giants and Mets will play/Piazza, New York catcher, are you straight or are you gay?
Turned on Fox while feeding Ms. AB her lunch snack... guess which two teams were playing.
And "Piazza, New York Catcher" may be the prettiest song Stuart Murdoch ever wrote.
