Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

You should be too though.

I have a meeting that starts at 8:00.

Plus, i'm practicing for work in the getting up early department. I have to get up for, work at about 5:30 so, if I can ease into it, I'll be happy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's 2 hours more than I used to get!

Eek!

8:00 meetings are lame. I hope yours goes well though.

enh, it's very nonparticipatory on my part. I get a tour and some info, and possibly some books.

Well, I have to pay for them and they aren't light and fun books. so that might be lame.

Things like, Constructing Fear and The Culture of Crime. or the Aenid and The Divine Comedy.

You know. Light reading.

Ooh, speaking of light reading, I bought that Finishing school for boys book you were talking about. I think I shall read it this weekend.

Very light reading! Weird and funny.

I just looked at my meeting's agenda. The first hour is all social crap I could have skipped . Which means I could have woken up an hour later.

DOH!

hip deep in pie

I am continually amazed at you west coasters who always seem to be awake at ungodly hours. Do you never sleep?

I am back from the farmers market, which is probably at the start of peak season. There so much fresh and yummy stuff there, and the problem is that I am only one person, I can only eat so much. Also, I'm not inclined ot cook everyday, so I have to be realistic about how much I plan to buy and consume.

Oops.

I need to either admit I am awake and go have coffee and cereal or go back to sleep.

It's quite the dilemma, I tell you.
