Sara, Oz is a string eater and nothing keeps him from it. Sylvester definately plays with him. Then again, Oz just randomly pees on the floor every couple of months or so, so maybe he is not the best judge for normal behavior.

A new tic! It's got me rearranging dish towels and keeping my closet closed at all times. Until I forget and then I start swearing. It wasn't really that bad until the past year. Oy.
I'm hoping if I can get it out of sight/out of mind, he'll forget the habit and I can stop being so damned vigilant. It's worked with other bad habits of his.

Really, though, folks have been talking about harnessing the energy that goes into various annoyances for ages, and he actually went and did something about it. I think he deserves better.

(actually, I'll bet the grade was due to not following the parameters of the assignment. When I was in high school, science projects had to be experimental in nature, not a build-it type project. My dad, who often gets called on to be a judge for science fairs, gets very opinionated on the subject.)
