I practiced avoidance of piles of laundry fairly well, so that was fun. You know, the "What do I need to make it through the next three days?" game.
My sister and nephew visited, which was even more fun. He's getting ready to go back to school (college), so we made a Costco's run. And ate really good food at a restaurant that is too close to my house because I want to go there for every meal.
I was going to ask whether the Overnight thing was you and lori or a school thing. Sounds so much better with just adults. Also? Surfing lessons in Janurary?? I need to move.

I know that game. But it happens with dishes, not laundry, for me.
Ooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
I have bruises that won't get better but I don't have pictures.
YES! You should move! Sure, surfing can happen here year round. It'll actually be less morning fog at the beach during the winter. An irony of life in California is that summer at the beach? Not particularly sunny until late morning/early afternoon.
That's gross and painful looking, Kat.
It sounds like you had a good weekend, Jen. Yay!
Picture courtesy of my camera phone. And that was about 3 or 4 days after. They aren't oozing; it's just neosporin.
Yep. gross and painful. This can describe my relationship to my feet/legs when I start running again.
When they started to hurt, was after they burst and by that point, I was half the distance away and still had to come back. Which is the sucky part of working out not in a gym.
