Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I didn't make it outside today. In fact, I didn't even leave the floor of my building. Apartment and trash room were my domain.

I thought I'd be done with changing the sheets on the bed, but no, I also re-set the base plate that quasi-seals my shower door and then I cualked all around it to keep the water out and eliminate mildew underneath. I think I am going to have to regrout my shower soon, but there are so many things above that on the home fixit list.

Tonight I had too much reality tv. Celebrity FitClub which is annoying. BB which is so good this season. RSINXS which I seem to only catch in reruns, but is good as background watching. Battle of the Reality Stars which was enh and really makes me miss the good ol 70's Battle of the Network Starts, and finally a wee bit of Kill Reality which I had to turn off. I am ready for the next season of ANTM and TAR already. I'm over seeing past reality participants on other shows.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Because mushrooms are ewww?

Craxy! As it turns, out the sauteed mushroom variation on a grilled cheese sandwich was "unbelievably tasty" according to JZ.

Sounds yummmmm.

JenP's invited next time I make it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm starting to consider getting the damned DVR for the fall. What I need to do is check the schedules and see how many 8 o'clock shows I'd want to catch, because I'll be in class then most days.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Um, I may have bought an iPod mini on my way to get some cat food.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay! Theodosia is one of us.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

That happens sometimes, Theo.

Perfectly understandable.

(Did you remember the cat food?)

I managed to buy the cat food first. The cats are of the opinion that I have my priorities straight....

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The cats are of the opinion that I have my priorities straight....

That's all that matters. Congratulations on your purchase! Enjoy, you deserve it.
