You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

YAY packrat Kat! I love that, it made me smile, and possibly yell EAT IT!.

In fact you make that combination "Ewww" and "WTF?!?" and "Whatever!" face all at once.

That is my face a lot of the time. isn't it?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

“And now I can’t imagine my life without you ... Even if I have to share you.”

What is wrong with people?

I slept late, but not as well as I might have, due to construction in the apartment next door that started at 8:30 this morning. Argh. Now I have got to got to do laundry, or I'll never be able to get dressed in clean clothes.

Edit:

That is my face a lot of the time. isn't it?

Yes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What is wrong with people?

Well ... well ... it's a poly thing, I guess, right?

glad it made you smile!

I had shoe failure again today while running, but now I'm making cupcakes so it's 40% better. My friend Michelle is going to be here eventually and I'm feeling as cheery as can be expected.

OH! Perkins! My thing with the deptartment chair worked out! Nothing like the power of an apology and responsibilty-taking over something I've done wrong to smooth the way.

But if you were poly, you wouldn't have this wistfulness about "having" to "share," would you? You'd be all psyched that you weren't trying to restrict each other into a single relationship.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Junebug is great, really great.

You don't have to be poly to send that card. It's poly to receive it. I also don't see poly people as running around being psyched about their polyness all the time.

Wistfulness and goopy sentiment in a love card? That's ... well, they often look the same to me. I'll get back to you in five years and tell you if I can see a distinction.

YAY, bonbon! Amy Adams totally knocked my socks off. Some of the characters (okay, most except for sieve!Dad, new!Wifey, and adorable!Preggo) were unlikeable but all of that pent up disappointment, discontent and anger. Yowza.

I'm going to stand by my original statement, I think.
