Lydia: Its removal from Burma is a felony and when triggered it has the power to melt human eyeballs. Giles: In that case I've severely underpriced it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

having Carrot Top present at ground zero would mean that everyone wins.

Easy for you to say, what with you not having to touch him. Maybe he can be a few cubes down, and taken out by the elderly security guard or something.

I'm gonna order takeout from here: [link] tonight.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

ignoring all the Carrot top talk

What are people doing for the weekend? So far my big plan is to get my hair cut tomorrow morning.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

What, you couldn't pick up a chair or bookend and enjoy the feeling of bones crunching through an intervening medium?

If I only had a brain...

I am going to be at home with the kids. There may be sewing.

There is supposed to be cleaning up, but I doubt it.

Oddly enough, I am getting my bangs trimmed tomorrow afternoon. Other than that, I dunno.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am doing the shimmy shimmy hula dance of corporate victory. But that is just right now. Not sure about what this weekend holds.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

This weekend? Cleaning house. Going to a beach wedding which is a couple of hours away. Hosting SiL and BiL for brunch. Working on Parking Lot of Office and trying to make it look presentable before Company Owner (who is going to do my review and set my raise) arrives. Going to movies with friends. Doing laundry.

I am tired just THINKING about it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Tonight: JZ and I collect Emmett from his last day of camp, then swoop over to his godparents house where we pleasantly socialize. Very fun. They'll have martinis. Emmett loves playing with the younger godsister (who is 2 years older than him).

Tomorrow: I have off from responsibilities. I shall probably sell some things at Amoeba and then buy some things. If I'm diligent then some things might make it into the mail.

Sunday: Brunch with my ex-minion who I have not seen in a couple months. JZ will be off at a shower. At 3pm promptly, I'll collect her and we'll go to the East Bay and have a BBQ with EM and her visiting family. It'll be a little odd and weird, but our presence was requested by my ex-MiL, and my ex-SiL has never met me and wanted to. This is all for Emmett's benefit. There will be alcohol.
