I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

It's a remora, dimwit.

Susan, I'm so sorry. I hope you can find some comfort in the family you've created with your husband.

And more along the lines of Rio's and Fiona's news, something of the good has happened and Almanzo and I got the apartment. There will be rejoicing once we've managed to come up with the cash for the bond and move our 200lbs of stuff in.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Congrats Madrigal! Rushcutters Bay is a very convenient location. Close to the harbour is always good in Sydney.

And we're also in walking distance of Paddington - and after checking several places there, I see why they call it the gay district. I just find it charming that there's a fetish shop called "The Fetish Shop" and a men's salon called "Sexy Beast."

Yes, and yes. Also in walking distance of the Cross, which is another experience entirely.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Unfortunately, my friend kathlaw's last LJ post was to thank all her friends for their support, so I'm possibly over-reacting emotionally here. And unfortunately also, I have to go offline now, so I'll metaphorically cross my fingers that Gus was just feeling a bit maudlin tonight, as we all do from time to time. ::hugs all around just the same::

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's great news, Madrigal. Big Adventure! You're doing stuff in foreign lands. You're gallivanting about. You should probably cavort while you're at it.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Does anyone have a clue what is up with Gus?
