Yeah, we're building a race of frog-people. It's a good time

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, it continues to be mad thunder and lightening here, my lights have browned out twice for a minute, and my cable modem just crapped out for a bit, although my cable TV remained on just fine. What do you think are the odds I'll lose power over night?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Decent, if the storm doesn't seem like it will end soon.

Hmm. Doppler radar looks like we're at the tail end of this batch, but there's another clump of rain over Newark.

I'm highly impressed with how long this has been going on (and off), I must say. Also how unimpressed my cat is by thunder that makes me jump.

I guess I'll just go to bed now, and hope I wake up in the morning....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

First item on an online personality thingy:

1) I am highly theoretical.
Very Inaccurate--------------------Very Accurate

Sadly, the test does not continue with "I am a prototype. (Very Inaccurate--------Very Accurate)"

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm not sure Boxed Set is the place for this anymore, so I'll put it here.

Best Buy currently has Season 3/4 of Due South (the CKR years) for $18.99.

It's all very odd. It's not on their website. (Or rather, the website lists an out-of-stock, $79 import.) The packaging is leftover from the earlier seasons, i.e., lots of Ray V and nary a mention of CKR. The discs aren't even labeled Disc 1, Disc 2, etc. (Wonder how long it'll take me to get them mixed up.) It does call it season three, which is the only indication of what's on the inside. But it's all the Ray K eps, Burning Down the House to Call of the Wild. Bizarre. I entertained myself on the way home speculating about someone on the inside sneaking the discs out to the fans who've been waiting a very long time.

You know what's odd? No one has said vagina bojangeler in a really long time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've been saying it to myself, never fear.

I curried snapped, and it was good. And it will also be good for lunch tomorrow.

I also made CI chocolate cupcakes, and damn I need to eat another one.
