Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

brillig

We have discovered the way to get rid of extra junk. We leave it outside and our druggie neighbors steal it. Kind of like wrapping up your garbage at Christmas time and leaving it in your unlocked car.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I hope you two get the apartment you want, Madrigal. When do you expect to hear?

I'd like an enchanted dust rag to come and finish the last bits of cleaning today. Oh, and the books need to stack themselves neatly too.

It's a remora, dimwit.

We submit everything on Monday, and we could hear as early as Tuesday and then move in on Wednesday. And if anyone has a spare minute and wants to send a letter of reference to the email address - it'd help, since we have to bring in written ones and so far we've just got one or so.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

How are you feeling, Aurelia? Any better?

Cereal:

It's actually too cool here. I have a sweater on, but the cold may drive me back inside anyway.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Madrigal, maybe ask billytea or one of our other aussies, so it's coming from someone closer to local?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I am doing better. At this point, I'm mostly trying to avoid stiffness. The pain is now narrowed down to a more specific spot and is bearable with out any meds. And I can stand up straight. I couldn't do that earlier in the week.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's good.

Hey, you're back in Chicago now, and soon to be mobile. Maybe I can stop hoarding my tamarind balls now.

What? Sometimes, it is all about me.
