I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Citibank mails my landlord a check. Your bank probably does too, because check-mailing allows them to debit your account days, if not weeks, before the check is cashed.

That's the other side of the coin, though; you have to allow your bank to debit your account with enough time to mail the check. So if you get paid on the 1st, you might have it debited on the 28th every month, which cuts it close for some people. It's balancing the risk of forgetting to pay your rent with the risk of being short by the 28th.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Looks like it's 57 and foggy outside my back door.

My electric bill is spontaneously combusting, I know that.

And I just looked and my car is sitting in full sun and so the lure of going places with effective a/c just got dampened by the prospect of melty car.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Hmmm. It's lovely and 70-ish here right now. 50% humidity, but still very nice after the oven it's been. All of the fans got turned off for the first time in months.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Thanks for the info. I think I'll call my landlord on Monday and ask if they receive funds electronically. If not, I'll just continue to mail, because I know I'll not be short on cash.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm sitting outside, enjoying the nice cool breeze. Don't really need it, since it's only about 80 here, with almost no humidity.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I found the Indiana Meth law website. Apparently you can't buy more than 3 grams of pseudoephedrine at a time. Now I just have to figure out how much pseduoephedrine is in a 118mL bottle of Triaminic (with 15mg per 5mL) and in a 15mL bottle of Infant Tylenol Cold & Cough with 7.5mg per .8mL.

I think the sales clerk was erring on the side of caution.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

the only bill I don't have set up for online bill pay is my rent, which is kinda dumb as it is the bill I'm most likely to forget because they don't mail me a handy envelope saying, "yo dumbass, rent is due!"
Rent was the first bill I set up online through my bank. For this exact reason. That and the fact that sometimes I think I "know" the address for my landlord. And every time I write it from "memory" my check goes to the Chinese restaurant down the street.

My credit union just mails a check. It does hit my account faster but I don't have to actually remember to write a check and mail it. Tradeoffs.

I'd bring in Owen to cough on her.

But I'm spiteful.
