'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

FWIW, I've been able to buy two packages at a time here in MA, though I was asking for a 64-count, and they gave me two 32-count ones instead.

Now tagless for your comfort.

It's a new Indiana law. The legislature got embarrassed when some magazine labeled the state "Meth-Lab Central."

I thought Iowa had the highest number of meth labs (according to a recent Newsweek article).

Could be. Legislators tend to focus on appearance more than truth. Really, you'd think that they would be happy to finally be the center of something.

Meanwhile, there's some thought that the meth "craze" is way way overstated.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Earlier this week, Jessica "Natter 37: Oddly Enough, We've Had This Conversation Before." Aug 8, 2005 11:35:15 am PDT, Jessica posted this shark vs. octopus link [link] and I just remembered to watch it.

Too fricking cool.

I think it's typical that when a drug leaves the confines of urban areas and makes its way into the suburbs and rural areas, that's it's defined as an epidemic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You mean when it's not just a poor or black or Hispanic thing anymore? Yeah.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I've heard some stories about that, although it hasn't happened to me yet.

Thursday I went to my local grocery store on the way home from work to buy more blue Sudafed. They didn't have ANY Sudafed. Woe.

Apparently there's a meth problem in my area, and my mother tells me about the kids at her school who've been caught in lab explosions. And yet, I could not tell you what meth looks like. I mean, unless it looks like it looks on CSI.

No waves, Perkins. A lot of people (for the early hour) just sitting out there and staring at the horizon.
