I have a bug bite or something on my neck right where a lot of my shirt collars/necklines can hit it, and it keeps opening and bleeding.
It's really annoying.

Physical attraction is an odd duck in my brain. Current interest is very much the Vin Disel type. this has Nothing to do with real life. In real life people's brains and hearts have a lot to do with how physically attactive they are to me. Matt's most apppealing characteristic is the way he moves. Very confident and graceful.
I didn't have a bunch of people to chose from in my life. There were many years without any. I'm picky. and I'm not sure I could have made the choice if I hadn't know Matt for so many years before there was an oppertunity.

It's not by chance two bug bites, fairly close together?
psst Perkins is a vampire love slave. pass it on.
NECK RUPTURE!
Perkins fell on a BBQ fork.
Well, that would explain my paleness, and that odd longing for human blood.
Oh, ChiKat, I was just thinking about you! Do you want to go to the farmer's market early tomorrow morning?
Yes! I haven't been yet either. That sounds like a great way to start the day!
I'll call you tonight, when I get home from work.
You'll just have to make sure I don't buy any of the freshly-made donuts they'll be selling...
See, I don't think sexual orientation has anything to do with love, any more than sexual attraction has anything to do with being in love. So whether or not love is a choice is a totally different issue than whether or not sexual orientation is a choice. One is an emotion, the other is hormones.
(And obviously, having sex with someone is a choice. But surely there are gay and straight virgins in this world.)
Whether emotions are anything other than biological is an infinitely more complicated question. Personally, I don't think anything we do is outside the realm of biology, including choice, so it's not an either/or question. We're flesh and blood and neurochemistry.
