Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Happy b-day, Robin!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow. For a second there, I thought that's how you were going to dye your hair, and my eyes went the size of saucers.

Har. Me too.

I feel like I have yet to wake up today, even though I've totally been out and about. I went to the pool and zonked out for an hour. I took a long walk home, including a bigass iced coffee, and came home and laid down for another half hour. I still feel snoozy. So weird -- I'm not a napper, I slept 8 hours last night, it's not hot outside, I've had a ton of caffeine today. I should not be so sleepy!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've taught three krav classes, and had at least one argument.

Not sure about the rest of the day yet -- returns to Lush, maybe The Aristocrats, and having a shot at spending some of my $100 gift card for BB&B.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I should not be so sleepy!

Well, I'm droopy, but we had to get up early for Emmett's baseball practice, and now I'm having a mid afternoon, droop inducing beer.

Advice please: the bike JZ wants is on sale for half price. It's pink and has martini glasses painted on it. Downside: no gears, so trickier for SF bike riding. It's more of a cruiser. But it's a cool cruiser.

It's down to $149 from $270 (which was already a discounted price).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've taught three krav classes, and had at least one argument.

I took a nap.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Erm, Hec? Would it compromise the look of it too much to have a gear package added? And thus, the best of both worlds?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Today I disassembled the rebuilt four-barrel carburetor I just bought, and had my suspicions confirmed - the wankers set the float height wrong.

I guess that would depend on how much it costs since I expect something like that would eat up the 50% discount.

Those inaccurate float height fuckers!

It's not actually mid-afternoon for you yet, you know. I'm much droopier today after a mid-afternoon coffee than I was yesterday after a mid-afternoon mimosa. It is curious.

But I'm listening to a hilarious mix of music off my computer (unplayed songs alpha by title, so it's all Guy/Nellie McKay/Journey/Kanye West).
