The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sorry about the stressful.

Dinner was very yummy. We went for Afghan food in the city, then went for coffee in North beach.

Is tax-free weekend a city/county/state thing, or were individual stores doing it?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's a back to school thing, so various types of goods are exempt from tax. The crowds, as you can imagine, were insane. Christmas-type insane.

I would think so, yes. You are very brave for going out in that.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronk.

I've spent the whole day with a sore throat, aching sinuses, and a slowly climbing temperature. Just woke up, throat is still sore, sinuses still ache, and temp is 100.2. I hate being sick. (I think I know where I caught this from, and everyone else who had it got better in a few days, so at least there's that.)

OK, so: everybody who doesn't feel well, should feel well. Everybody who wants to sleep, should be able to not only sleep, but also have pleasant dreams. Everybody who is stressed should be all relaxed. Everybody who has fun should continue doing just that.

I've used too many "should"s in the former paragraph, right? I should stop doing that.

Yes, yes, and yes. I still have a frightening amount of work to do to get my place looking like a home rather than a storage unit, though.

[Edit: Perkins! How are you doing?]
