And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Huh... talking knitting when I am otherwise occupied! I'm working on a lacy scarf in mohair, which has been rather frustrating, until I worked out how to arrange the stitch markers so that I don't lose my place. Third try's the charm! It'll be all gothy and lacey when it's done.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

When did they start having ads in Amazon's gold box? They are really annoying.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

They're opening up a knitting store a mile or two down the street from my apartment, right across from the "tea merchant" and next door to the new old-fashioned ice cream parlor. I love that Forest Park's commercial strip is growing, but I don't have the cash to keep up, damnit!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Isn't the gold box a ginormous ad? Dear lord.

I have surfed (I don't think I'll be taking any more lessons -- this one was really good in that a real vet taught it, and really annoying in that there were a lot of first timers doing potentially dangerous things where it could affect me -- which'd mean I'd need to go out by myself which is spooky) and I have kravved. A shower, and then Lush, maybe a pedicure, comics.

Oh, lunch. Need lunch.

Well yeah, but now they have "sponsors" and even more ads.

I saw a lizard on the way to the laundry room. It didn't have a pretty blue tail, but it still made me think of Allyson.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Just got back from going out to brunch in Santa Monica with an old friend for my birthday. The BF spoiled me rotten this year--I got the Moonlighitng boxed set, a bunch of percussion intruments so I can play along when he's playing guitar, and a certificate for a massage and a facial!!!!! I love being spoiled and I think it totally suits me!
